I'm a final year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student. I recently started a new job as a Kennel Attendant/Veterinary Nurse Assistant.
In this video I share what I do in this position. Since I already work as a Veterinary Nurse and have 3 & 1/2 years of vet school experience, I get to do more hands-on animal responsibilities in this role. If you have less experience, kennel attendants and veterinary assistants usually start out with cleaning duties around the hospital and then are given more responsibilities as they gain experience.
